“So that’s our job, is to make sure there’s nobody in here messing around and causing problems for people that just want to come out here, enjoy the fair and have a good time,” Treglia said. “And so the board members don’t have to worry about it, and the vendors don’t have to worry about it, and the 4-H clubs don’t have to worry about it. We’ll take care of all the problems, just let us know where it’s happening.”

Despite some heavy rain, the Allen County Sheriff's Office did not let Mother Nature ruin their fun at the Allen County Fairgrounds for their annual National Night Out. In addition to having dinner and talking with deputies, the SWAT team and the bomb squad, a big part of the celebration is the 5K run where all money and proceeds directly benefit the Allen County D.A.R.E. Program. On Tuesday evening, we talked with Allen County Sheriff, Matt Treglia, about why Tuesday night was so important.

In the video, an officer can be seen approaching the reported vehicle. Officers inform the occupants of the vehicle of the loud noise complaint. Another officer approaches an individual who was outside of the vehicle. The officer asked for identification, to which the individual responded that he did not have an ID on him. The officer then detains the juvenile. Moments later, another male was detained after a confrontation occurred between him and police officers.
