February 3, 2025, Press Release from the Delphos Police Department: On 1-26-2025 officers were sent to the 1100 block of N. Main St, for a possible physical disturbance. Officers spoke with all parties at that time and left the scene. Officers were called back to the area approximately four hours later for an on-going disturbance. During the investigation of that call, officers found probable cause to arrest a female, 26-year-old Ladonna Monfort, of Delphos, for making threats to a family member.

On 1-27-2025 officers responded to the 1400 block of N. Main St, to investigate a crash involving a semi-tractor trailer. Officers arrived and found that the semi-trailer had struck a power pole causing it to break off.

On 1-27-2025 officers were sent to the 400 block of N. Canal St, for an unruly juvenile complaint. After investigating that complaint, officers were sent back to the residence a short time later for a physical altercation. During the investigation of that incident officers found probable cause to arrest a female, 32-year-old Alysha Long, of Delphos, for Domestic Violence.  

On 1-27-2025 officers were sent to a residence on S. Clay St, to investigate the discovery of a deceased female. The death was determined to be of natural causes.

On 1-28-2025 officers were dispatched to a residence on E. 7th St, for a dog barking complaint.

On 1-28-2025 officers were dispatched to the 800 block of W. Clime St, for a physical altercation. Officers met with a male who stated that he became upset with another male who was in his residence. After the male refused to leave a physical altercation ensued.

On 1-28-2025 a male called the police department wanting to report an incident that he had with his grandson who was being unruly.

On 1-28-2025 a female wished to file a report of bruises that she found on her son after he returned from being watched by a family member.

On 1-29-2025 officers were sent to the 100 block of N. Washington St, for an unruly juvenile complaint. A female reported that her grandson was arguing and refusing to go to school.

On 1-30-2025 officers spoke with a male who wanted to file a theft report. The male told officers that he had a contract with a business that did not pay him his full amount. Officers advised the male that this is a civil issue.

On 1-30-2025 officers spoke with a supervisor at a business on E. 5th St, who reported that an employee had purchased personal items while in possession of a business credit card.

On 1-30-2025 officers were sent to the 800 block of S. Main St, for a disturbance. Officers met with a male who stated that he was receiving threats from his daughter after he told her to move out of his residence.

On 1-30-2025 a male called the police department to report a Theft. The male told officers that his ex-girlfriend entered his residence and stole items while he was not present. Officers spoke with the female, and she stated that it is currently still her residence and only took her belongings. This was determined to be a civil issue.

On 1-31-2025 officers received a complaint from a third party wishing to report an incident. The caller stated that they spoke with a female in Delphos who told them that her juvenile son had threatened harm to the family and had cut her thumb with a knife.  

On 1-31-2025 officers responded to the 1400 block of N. Main St, to investigate an alarm activation at a business.
