A Findlay man and woman died from injuries from a crash between a minivan and pickup truck at the intersection of Township Road 190 and State Route 15.
A 12-year-old girl was flown to a Toledo Hospital after a crash Saturday morning on i-75 north of Bluffton. According to Findlay post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash happened just after 6 a.m.
The Findlay Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a single semi crash on I-75 Thursday just before 4 p.m. The semi overturned and caught fire, but the driver had minor injuries.
Findlay troopers are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash on I75 on Christmas Day. According to a media release from the Findlay Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash happened just before 7 p.m. North of the Van Buren exit of I75. Troopers say the pedestrian was in the southbound lane when he was hit by a Michigan man driving a SUV. The man then was hit by two additional vehicles. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, their name has not been released yet because they need to notify next of kin. The southbound lanes were shut down for four hours while trooper investigated the crash.
In 2021 alone, there have been four fatal crashes killing four people on Hardin County roadways. All of them occurred within days of each other. In upcoming weeks, additional troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol Findlay Post will be in Hardin County to assist the Sheriff's office in reducing deadly driving.
The Findlay Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol will be dispatching extra troopers and overtime with grant money to target failure to yield violations in Hancock County during the rest of November.
