Monday night, 7 Republicans running to fill Rob Portman's Senate seat took the stage together, each trying to lure voters to their side.  The candidates described the race as a fight to preserve American values, protect U.S. security and revive the economy.  But having that many candidates for a single primary race led to a lot of comments of them trying to separate themselves from each other.

2020 has brought us all a lot of “firsts”. Maybe it was your first time working from home, or your kids first time learning from home. This is definitely the first presidential election we’ll be going through during a pandemic, and for one generation out there, this will also be their first time they’ll be able to cast their ballot.

Sandra Monfort and her husband Eddie have always shown support of whatever cause or person they will be voting for in an election. They have put political signs in their yard for as long as they have lived on the busy street corner in Lima with no problem up until this week. On Wednesday, the couple noticed that a handful of their signs were missing.

The Ohio secretary of state has been traveling to all 88-county board of elections to see where the real work is being done. Secretary Frank LaRose says together they're working to get ready for the 2020 presidential election. From new voting machines to advance cybersecurity technology, LaRose says Ohio has been leading the way. He says it's important to make sure voters feel confident at the polls and that their voice matters.

Special counsel Robert Mueller spoke publicly for the first time in two years, after starting his investigation into Russian involvement in the 2016 presidential election. In the 10 minute statement, Mueller says there were "multiple, systematic efforts" to interfere in the 2016 presidential election and that "deserves the attention of every American". Mueller detailed that meddling in an indictment last year, charging 12 Russian military intelligence officers with hacking Democratic email accounts.

Senator Rob Portman says the American public should be happy that there was no collusion found between President Trump and Russia. But it could be a few weeks before the Attorney General releases the Mueller report to the public and Portman says it’s important for not only Congress, but the American people to see the results of the investigation.
