In a series of media interviews and social media posts Monday, Trump insisted he’s in no rush to end the war while also expressing confidence that peace negotiations with Tehran will soon resume in Pakistan. A two-week ceasefire between the two countries is set to expire Wednesday. Trump said he expects the negotiation team lead by Vice President JD Vance to return to Pakistan for more talks. Tehran said there were no plans yet to attend the talks with the U.S.

Members of the argumentation and advocacy class debated the topic of whether to allow students to do off-site religious instruction during the school day, which is a topic that Ohio lawmakers are looking at currently. The students were assigned either to defend the issue or to debate against it. Learning the art of debating can give people a better understanding of a topic, even if they don't agree with it.
It has become a holiday tradition in the Lima area. The South Side Christian Church's "Holiday Treasures" bazaar is at the end of this week. Members of the Disciple's women's group at the church work all year crafting and creating. The bazaar dates back to the 1950s, raising money for local non-profits, and it also provides fellowship for those who work on the sale. Members say they are blessed to be able to help others with the sale.
