On May 18th, the Lima Area Habitat for Humanity will be holding a coffee and dessert tasting at the City Club. The Meeting Place on Market, Vibe Coffeehouse, and Sara's Sweets will be combining different coffee roasts and brewing techniques to pair with something sweet. Habitat for Humanity will also be sharing its vision for the upcoming year and talking about its program, "Shingles of Hope."

Two local eateries are supporting the Mental Health and Recovery Board of Allen, Auglaize, and Hardin Counties. Sara’s Sweets are offering up a green velvet cupcake with a dollar of the cost going to the board on Tuesday, May 25th. Next door at Dash and Joey’s pick from 4-choice green drinks to support mental health. 10-percent of the sales from the green treats during the month of May will be going to the board.
