LIMA, OH (WLIO) - The Lima Area Habitat for Humanity is offering a tasty experience during a fundraiser for their roof repair program.
On May 18th, the Lima Area Habitat for Humanity will be holding a Coffee & Dessert Tasting at the City Club at 306 N Main St, Lima, OH 45801.
The Meeting Place on Market, Vibe Coffeehouse, and Sara's Sweets will be combining different coffee roasts and brewing techniques to pair with something sweet. Habitat for Humanity will also be sharing its vision for the upcoming year and talking about its program, "Shingles of Hope."
"We are repairing roofs in the community. So, people are welcome to contact our office if they are interested in having their roof repaired," says Caleb Farmer, Associate Director of Habitat of Humanity—Lima Area. "And so money from this, along with, we had a generous gift from Market Street Presbyterian Church and Tom Ahl, and some of those and more donations that will come in will help us complete more roofs this year."
Tickets for the May 18th coffee and dessert tasting are $35 a piece or $60 for two. The limit is 100 people at the event. You can go to https://www.habitatlima.org/coffee.html to reserve your tickets.
