LIMA, Ohio - The Lima Locos rallied from an early four-run deficit to defeat the Grand Lake Mariners 10-8 Friday at Simmons Field, pulling even with the Mariners atop the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League standings at 27-8.

Grand Lake jumped ahead 4-0 in the third behind a two-run double from Huston Dunn and a two-run single by Forrest Day. Lima answered with eight runs over the third, fourth and fifth innings, highlighted by RBI hits from Avery Wilson and Cameron Owens to take control.

The Mariners scored three times in the ninth to make it close, but the Locos held on to earn their third win in four meetings this week.
