FINDLAY, Ohio (WLIO) — A juvenile is in custody after a shooting Thursday morning in Findlay.
According to the Findlay Police Department, officers were called to 2215 Jennifer Lane just before 8:45 a.m. on a report that a man had been shot and was being taken to the hospital in a private vehicle. The vehicle stopped at a gas station, where Hanco EMS met the victim and transported him to Blanchard Valley Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police located the juvenile suspect in the area and took him into custody. The suspect is facing two counts of attempted murder and one count of felonious assault. Authorities are not releasing any names as the investigation remains ongoing.

On 6/25/2026, at 0844 hrs. Findlay Police received a report of male that had been shot and was being transported to the hospital by private vehicle. It was determined the shooting occurred at 2215 Jennifer Ln. in the parking lot. The private vehicle stopped at a gas station and Hanco EMS transported the victim to Blanchard Valley Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A juvenile suspect was developed and located in the area of the shooting. At this time, all names are being withheld due to the active investigation and will be released in the near future with additional details.
We are aware that this may have been reported on social media as an active shooter. It appears that this is a targeted attack and that there is no additional danger to the community.

The juvenile suspect was arrested on two counts of attempted murder and one count of felonious assault and was incarcerated at the Wood County Juvenile Detention Center.
The victim is in stable condition.
