Because of the upcoming Christmas holiday, the Lima-Allen County Regional Transit Authority will not run fixed bus routes, and riders must call to reserve a microtransit ride. Fares are $3 each way within one zone of operation, and $6 if you travel from one zone to the other. On Christmas Eve, the service will be available from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will be closed until the following Tuesday.
Microtransit will be the only transportation available on Saturday, December 24, 2022, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., there will be no fixed routes that day. Individuals will need to call RTA at 419-222-2782 no later than 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2022 to reserve a ride that day.
Doctors say the transitional period for every child is going to be different depending on when they normally wake up. So if there is a big gap between when they wake up now and when school starts, he suggests parents change their sleep routine sooner than later. That way the child has an easier time adjusting.
The construction of a new roundabout in Lima’s Town Square is ahead of schedule. Crews are completing the portion of the roundabout on the north side of the intersection. It can be as early as next week that construction will begin work in the center of the square. This will cause some additional road closures.
