In honor of celebrating the life of a young man with a promising future gone way too soon, Councilman Derry Glenn is enlisting the help of the Lima community to raise money for the annual Mekhi Alexander Williams Scholarship to help Lima Senior High School students interested in nursing pursue their careers at any college or university of their choice. One student will receive the $1,000 scholarship leading up to graduation, with Glenn and company selling special calendars to go towards the fund.
