WAPAKONETA, Ohio (WLIO) — Dual-sport athlete Paige Olberding signed a letter of intent Wednesday at Wapakoneta High School to continue her track and field career at Tiffin University following her senior season.
Olberding has been a four-year varsity competitor for the Wapakoneta Redskins, building a résumé highlighted by a state appearance in the 300-meter hurdles as a freshman.
She also captured league titles in the 100- and 300-meter hurdles at last year’s Western Buckeye League meet.
Olberding said the recruiting process ultimately led her to Tiffin because of the opportunity to continue competing at a high level while pursuing her academic goals.
She is set to join the Dragons’ track and field program next season.
