Students K through 6th wore test-themed shirts saying "I'm like a star bursting with knowledge" along with star glasses as they gathered in the school's gymnasium for their assembly Tuesday afternoon, designed to help get them ready for their upcoming tests. Each student in attendance had the opportunity to learn how to stay cool, calm, and collected when faced with tests and obstacles, all while, of course, watching the Wonder Wheels BMX Stunt Bikes Team perform amazing tricks.

19 people every day in Ohio take their own life, by either committing suicide or a drug overdose. But Casey Mulcahy tells us about a new study that will be looking at ways to be proactive, not reactive to mental health issues in the state. The SOAR study is being led by The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, which will be collaborating with universities and hospitals from around the state. SOAR is working to identify the root causes of emotional distress, suicide, and drug overdoses.

Dr. Thomas Budd says one part of the phase will study the vaccine in people who have had and been treated for triple-negative breast cancer but are at risk for recurrence. Another part will be open to individuals who have never had breast cancer, but are at high risk due to genetics and are planning to have a preventive mastectomy. In this group, Dr. Budd says researchers will continue to evaluate the safety, fine-tune dosage, monitor immune response through blood tests, and also look for side effects.

At this meeting, a concept design will be introduced that shows the features that can possibly be included in the aquatics center that will be located near Stadium Park. There is an activity pool, a multi-use pool that will have a retractable enclosure for year-round use. There is also a pool house and concession restroom area in the design. They are looking for more public input before the design is locked in.
