Shawnee High School students and staff spent the past several weeks collecting food and hygiene items for local families in need.

“Had to do a lot of research. I don't know very much about concrete or any of that kind of stuff, so I did some research. I figured out the basis I need to do for pouring concrete, installing these benches,” Rodden said.

It was a morning of honor and patriotism at Shawnee High School as the district recognized its veterans.

The gym at Shawnee High School was full of energy today, as students from grades 4 through 8 got a first look at the Team Tressel Fitness Challenge.

Logan Shulte, an Ottoville High School graduate; Chris Wade, a graduate of Defiance College; and Tommy Spyker, a Shawnee High School alumnus, have all met the requirements to become full members of the Lima Fire Department.
