Stadium construction will begin at the end of the Spring ’23 softball season with a dedication event planned later in the year. Among the planned features are heated dugouts, field lighting, a new scoreboard with updated technology, padded backstop, upgraded press box, and permanent bleachers with bucket seating. The university is working with architects at Fanning Howey in Celina, Ohio.

The Putnam County YMCA held an open house to thank those who made the replacement of their natatorium's HVAC system possible. With funding secured by Ohio Legislators Senator Rob McColley and Representative Jim Hoops, as well as donations from Mercy Health, Unverferth Manufacturing, and the Village of Ottawa, they were able to complete the $300,000 project.

The group says they would like to see a red wave wash over the state come election day. Governor Mike DeWine says if he is re-elected to office, he will continue to create jobs in the state, and make sure that the workforce is there to support these new jobs and that starts by giving students options to help develop their own futures.

Those supporting pro-choice and protesting the U.S. Supreme Court overturning Roe versus Wade were on the northwest quadrant of the square. The weekly Remnant worship was in the northeast quadrant of the square. The pro-choice supporters crossed the street and converged on the worship service. All had their reasons for participating.
