The Delphos Canal Museum is holding their 25th annual "Celebrate Christmas." Featuring 100 Christmas trees, wreaths, and other holiday items decorated by local groups and organizations along with museum trustees and volunteers.
The holiday season is all about celebrating and being together, and that's what the Auglaize County Veterans Commission did on Sunday! They held their 4th annual brunch for Auglaize County veterans and their families. They love seeing new and returning veterans come and enjoy the meal with their loved ones, not only thanking the veterans for what they gave for our country, but giving them a group to celebrate the holiday season with.
Otterbein residents in Cridersville came together Tuesday afternoon for their annual Christmas gala. The residents gathered around decorated tables for a homemade gourmet dinner. During dinner, there was also entertainment including the Jazz Coasters traveling out to Cridersville to perform various Christmas-themed tunes for residents. Many residents look forward to this event each year as it brings them all together to enjoy the Christmas season.
It was festive and bright throughout several Shawnee Township neighborhoods! The Shawnee Luminary returned for another year of dazzling Christmas displays. The Indianbrook, Timberfield, and Wildbrook neighborhoods participated with the streets sparkling with glowing candles and houses shining with Christmas lights. There were also Christmas treats and hot chocolate ready for drivers cruising through. Hundreds of people gathered in Wapakoneta for an annual Christmas dinner. The 29th Miracle Meal Christmas Dinner was served Monday night inside the Auglaize County Junior Fair Building with around 350 people coming together for a meal. A Christmas present was also given to every child from birth to 18-years old along with a local pastor delivering the message of Christmas. There was also plenty of Christmas caroling and even raffle drawings throughout the evening. The meal is free for everyone and gives all a chance to enjoy a moment this Christmas season without the financial stress.

The cold weather was very fitting for an annual Christmas tradition in Cridersville Monday night! The Cridersville Historical Society lit up their Christmas tree at the Daniel Bowsher Log Cabin. In addition to the tree lighting, people gathered around the small bonfire to sing Christmas carols while staying warm. There was plenty of hot chocolate and various Christmas cookies to enjoy, and even Father Christmas made an appearance. Through all the festive memories being made, the Cridersville Historical Society, not only celebrates the Christmas season, but also shows people what Christmas may have looked like in the 1830s when the Bowsher Family first lived in Shawnee Township.

Community members decked the halls of some local buildings this afternoon. Six sites, including the McDonnell House, the Lima Symphony Orchestra, and more, were decorated for the holidays. Floral designs and holiday treats were provided by local shops.
