SPENCERVILLE, OH (WLIO) - An annual tradition brings the Christmas spirit to Spencerville.
The local businesses get involved by selling some goodies or lending their space to hold different crafts.
Their Christmas festival did just that. With a bounce house, a scavenger hunt, and new attractions like the horse carriage ride, there was no shortage of fun to be had. The local businesses get involved by selling some goodies or lending their space to hold different crafts. This event gets everyone together so they don't forget what the holiday season is about.
"To bring the community back together. So many communities have gotten away from doing things together or having festivals. Just to bring the joy of Christmas back. We do a tree lighting at 7, which is always special," says Debbi Graves, Hometown Christmas committee member.
The Hometown Christmas committee appreciates all sponsors and anyone who was involved with preparations.
