They are hoping to feed more than 3,000 people on Thursday at the Lima Thanksgiving Dinner. The turkey is sliced, the dressing is prepped and the potatoes are bagged all in preparation for Thursday's Thanksgiving dinner.
Thanksgiving is only two days away, and Lima South Science and Technology students are celebrating early! On Tuesday afternoon, the kids gathered at the tables to feast upon a traditional Thanksgiving meal. On the menu was venison, sweet potatoes, and apple crisps. Many staff members help served the meal while dressing up as pilgrims and Native Americans. During the feast, we talked with two students about the impact Thanksgiving has on them.

The Agriculture and Fine Arts Building was full of activity today at the Allen County Fair. Open Class competitions were going on in a variety of events. There was the Tablescapes, where competitors set a dinner table with a specific theme. Just beside them was the "Your Favorite Lunch Casserole" cook-off, with the cooks' choice of casserole up for judging on their presentation and flavor. And just around the corner, it was the "Wine Challenge," where bottles of homemade wine were judged on taste, quality, looks, and originality.
