OTTAWA (WLIO) — Ottawa-Glandorf football is ushering in a new era with a familiar face on the sidelines.
Pending board approval, Ben Kaufman has been named the Titans' new head football coach. Kaufman spent the last 10 seasons as an assistant under longtime head coach Ken Schriner, who retired after 30 years leading the program.
In a statement, Kaufman called it “an honor” to take over the program, expressing appreciation for the decade he coached under Schriner and acknowledging the “big shoes to fill.”
The transition keeps continuity within the program as O-G turns the page following three decades under Schriner’s leadership.
