FINDLAY — Wayne scored on the opening possession of the game when Isaiah Thompson powered up the middle for a first-quarter touchdown and a 7-0 lead.
Findlay’s attempt to respond was derailed when a pass from Riley Korkos was intercepted, leading to a long return deep into Findlay territory. Later in the second quarter, Kyle Graham tried to spark the Trojans but Alex Gonzales picked off a pass for Wayne.
Wayne closed the night with a 34-10 victory. The loss ends Findlay’s season.
