LIMA — Lima Senior continued its unbeaten run through Toledo City League play Friday night, rolling past Bowsher 45-9 at Spartan Stadium.
The Spartans wasted no time taking control after an early turnover. Quarterback Ja’Niaus Hall connected with Amontrae Davis on a short pass that turned into a big gain, setting up a two-yard touchdown run by Davis to open the scoring.
Moments later, Carmelo Mays extended the lead with a pick-six, sprinting down the sideline untouched to make it 14-0. Hall later added a rushing touchdown of his own, keeping the Spartans in full command.
With the win, Lima Senior improves to 4-0 in Toledo City League play and strengthens its hold on first place, while Bowsher drops to 2-2 in conference action.
