OTTAWA, Ohio (WLIO) — Ottawa-Glandorf girls basketball continued its dominant season, clinching at least a share of the Western Buckeye League title with a 62-40 win over Bath.

The Titans entered the matchup unbeaten at 17-0 and wasted little time asserting control against the Wildcats. In the second quarter, Allison Kuhlman sparked the defense by poking the ball away on an inbound pass, leading to a contested layup from junior Gracie Lammers that pushed Ottawa-Glandorf’s lead to double digits.

Bath tried to answer back with second-chance opportunities, including a putback from junior Gwyn Foust, who finished with 10 points. However, the Wildcats struggled to keep pace as Ottawa-Glandorf continued to stretch the lead.

Senior Izzy McDermott added a boost from beyond the arc, knocking down a three-pointer on her way to nine points.

The Titans took firm control in the second half. Six-foot-two junior Madison McKee cleaned up a miss with a putback to make it 36-24, keeping momentum firmly on the home side.

Findlay commit Karsyn Ford capped the night with a strong performance, drilling a three-pointer and leading all scorers with 19 points.

With the 62-40 victory, Ottawa-Glandorf secured at least a share of the Western Buckeye League championship, continuing an undefeated run that has made them one of the top teams in West Central Ohio.
