ELIDA — Ottoville rolled past Temple Christian 7-0 on Thursday night to advance in the Division V, Northwest 2 boys soccer district tournament.
Ashton Miller led the Big Green with two goals, scoring the opening tally off a throw-in scramble before adding another on a breakaway later in the first half.
Goalkeeper Chase Furley anchored the Ottoville defense, stopping multiple shots early, including a free kick attempt from Temple Christian’s Nolyn Wright to preserve the shutout.
With the win, Ottoville moves on to face Ottawa Hills in the next round back at home on Saturday.
