LEIPSIC, Ohio — (WLIO) Pandora-Gilboa earned a Blanchard Valley Conference victory on the road, holding off Leipsic for a 48–41 win.
The Rockets set the tone early in the first quarter behind senior Kelsie Carlson. Carlson knocked down a pull-up jumper as part of a game-high 16-point performance, helping Pandora-Gilboa build an early advantage.
Leipsic worked to stay within striking distance. Sophomore Nora Schroeder scored two of her team-high 11 points as the Vikings trimmed the deficit to six. Sydney Apple followed with a rebound and putback to pull Leipsic within five.
Pandora-Gilboa answered on the other end with crisp ball movement. Carlson found Navaeah Mangas for a bucket to extend the lead to seven, and the senior duo connected again moments later as Mangas added another score inside.
The Rockets maintained control down the stretch, limiting Leipsic’s chances and closing out the seven-point win.Â
