WAYNESFIELD — Ridgedale pulled off an impressive comeback Thursday night, rallying to sweep Waynesfield-Goshen in their regular season finale.

The Rockets trailed late in the second set, but Callie Comer sparked the rally with a key kill to keep Ridgedale in the fight. Waynesfield-Goshen had built a 16-11 lead behind strong play from Emily Fry and Cambrey Miller, who delivered several hard-hitting attacks.

However, the Rockets responded with a 12-2 run to steal the second set, highlighted by Hadessah Mills’ powerful strike to seal the comeback. That surge carried into the final frame as Ridgedale maintained control to close out the sweep.

The Rockets improve to 10-7 heading into postseason play, while Waynesfield-Goshen wraps up the regular season with momentum to build on despite the loss.
