ST. MARYS (WLIO) — St. Marys leaned on a dominant outing from Luke Rammel to get back in the win column with a 2-0 victory over Van Wert in Western Buckeye League play.
Rammel tossed a complete-game shutout, striking out multiple batters and stranding runners to keep the Cougars off the board.
The Roughriders broke through in the fourth inning on a sacrifice fly from Jackson Green that scored Kasey Gross, then added insurance in the fifth on an RBI double by Gross that brought home Reese Howell.
