Multiple search and rescue crews have been deployed in the river and the nearby area. The Putnam County Sheriff's Office says the initial call came in just after 3 p.m. Wednesday afternoon and they started a search for five-year-old Isaac Schroeder. He's a missing child with autism.

A pair of Ohio senators are unveiling legislation that would provide for the immediate reopening of Ohio. State senators Rob McColley of Napoleon and "Kristina Roegner of Hudson have introduced Senate Bill 311. The bill is similar to what was adopted by the Ohio House last week. It would place limitations on the director of health's ability to issue orders such as a "Stay at Home" order. It would limit any such order to a length of 14 days. And requires any extension to be first approved by Ohio lawmakers. The bill also mandates the governor to personally sign off on any such order.

Authorities in Van Wert County are investigating a shooting that left a young child dead. According to Van Wert County Sheriff Tom Riggenbach, deputies were called to a location in Middle Point just after 1:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon on reports of a young child with a gunshot wound. The child was taken to Mercy Health-St. Rita's hospital by Middle Point EMS, where the child was pronounced dead. The Van Wert County Coroner's Office also assisted at the scene. The sheriff says the incident remains under investigation.

Multiple fire departments called out to deal with a large barn fire in Putnam County early Monday evening. This is drone video sent to us by a viewer, of the fire at a residence off Road 23 Q, near Fort Jennings. Fire crews from Fort Jennings, Delphos, and Ottoville called out around 6:40. Initial reports said one building was on fire and close to igniting another. There were also concerns about a propane tank near one of the buildings. There's no word on what started the fire, or the extent of the damage.

A man has died following a boating accident on Indian Lake earlier Thursday afternoon. According to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, an adult male was pulled from the water near Tecumseh Island, at 12:20 p.m. Thursday afternoon. He was underwater for several minutes before bystanders and first responders reached him. He was given CPR and taken to Mary Rutan Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A man accused of robbing Findlay's Tiffin Avenue Walmart didn't get far. According to the Findlay Police Department, they took a report of a robbery just before 2:30 p.m. Monday afternoon at the east side Walmart. Witnesses say a man committed a theft from the store and was confronted by a citizen and an asset protection associate. He then appeared to be pointing a gun towards them from inside his pocket. He then fled the scene in a vehicle, that was stopped in Fostoria, by the local police.

It now appears Ohioans will not vote in the 2020 Primary Election on Tuesday. It has been a back and forth struggle Monday, but now, Ohio's top health official is expected to step in and order the polls closed. Monday afternoon, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced he intended to suspend in-person voting for the primary election and reset Ohio's primary to early June.
