Clouds are in place to begin today, and they will be lowering and thickening through the morning as rain approaches. It will arrive later this afternoon, around 3 PM in southern areas, and overspread the region late today. Heavy rain is likely in the overnight hours tonight and tomorrow morning, with over an inch possible in some locations, before we dry out later in the day. Will we dry out for Memorial Day?
