
LIMA, OH (WLIO) - The Greater Lima Region Park and Amphitheater made its debut late last summer, and this summer it's got a lineup that is sure to have something for everyone.

Today at the mayor's media briefing, a long list of events was announced for the Greater Lima Region Park and Amphitheater 2024 season. There are a variety of performances, ranging from the National Day of Prayer to multiple concerts to several festivals being held at the venue. The Civic Center is in charge of getting shows and setting up the calendar and is working hard to get affordable entertainment for the whole family.

"We're doing all we can to make sure that these ticket prices are perfect for the whole family to come down and enjoy some live entertainment. Our whole committee has been working really hard on this, and that outreach now to promoters and agents to try and get this new venue on their radar so that when these artists become available, we can book them and bring them in. So it's been very exciting. We're really looking forward to a great summer," commented Abe Ambroza, CEO of the Lima Civic Center.

Ambroza says they have been able to get Beatles and AC/DC tribute bands, along with the Taylor Swift Laser Spectacular Tour, to take the stage along with the Lima Symphony Orchestra for an outdoor performance. Announced so far for this upcoming season are:
- May 2nd – National Day of Prayer
- May 30th – Curtain Call featuring Beer Barrel Boys
- June 14th – 1964 The Tribute
- June 15th – Juneteenth Celebration
- June 21st – Reggae Concert
- June 29th – Lima Symphony Orchestra
- July 5th & 6th – Loud in Lima 2
- July 12th to 14th or Aug 2nd to 3rd – Christian Music Concert
- July 19th – Hip Hop Concert
- July 26th & 27th – Lima Rotary Club Weekend featuring the Taylor Swift Laser Spectacular Tour on July 26th
- August 10th – EDM Concert
- August 17th – Lima Music Festival
- September 6th & 7th – Spring & Main Music Festival feature some Blues and more
- September 14th – Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce’s Multicultural Festival
- September 21st – Thunderstruck
