LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — Drivers who travel along South Metcalf Street near the refinery will need to plan an alternate route this week.
The Allen County Engineer’s Office says the Metcalf Street Truss Bridge will be closed to traffic from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday for a scheduled inspection.
Officials say the inspection is routine and takes place every couple of years.
However, the engineer’s office is advising motorists that through traffic will not be permitted during the inspection hours and to plan ahead for detours.
