With more than 700 million unused employee vacation days in 2017, AAA explains the importance of using vacation days and how to best plan your future trip.
In an effort to better prepare for national plan for vacation day on Jan. 29, AAA says there are five things travelers need to do. They should create a budget, do their research, consider booking with a travel agent, plan ahead and consider purchasing travel insurance.
AAA believes that those who implement those tips will be able to effectively use their vacation time. More importantly they believe traveling can have a positive impact on your life.
“Taking vacation days has been shown to offer many benefits including strengthening your personal relationships, inspiring creative thinking, improving professional performance, boosting physical and mental health, and stimulating the economy,” said Kimberly Schwind, AAA Ohio Senior Public Relations Manager.
Those who are looking to get more help with vacation planning are encouraged to attend the AAA Great Vacations Travel Expo from Feb. 8 to Feb.10 at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus.
