You have to look at the past to understand the future. That was the message today from the Allen County Commissioners as they spoke with local realtors.
All three commissioners on hand at the West Central Association of Realtors meeting, presenting an overview of their capital plan. They first detailed the properties that the commissioners are responsible for and their conditions. Then they discussed how the proposed sales tax increase on the May ballot would finance the capital plan.
WCAR legislative chair, Tim Stanford, says he believes the commissioners are dong an excellent job at being responsible owners of property and the real estate agents in the area are supportive of that effort. He says that they understand the need to have facilities that help the efficient flow of commerce but also are places we can be proud of.
The West Central Association of Realtors gave a financial endorsement to the levy campaign at the meeting. A $1,000 donation was made to the "Committee to Secure Allen County's Future"
