The Area Agency on Aging 3 is again offering free shredding services. Anyone living in the Lima area is invited to take advantage of their drive through shred-a-thon. You can dispose of any personal documents, check stubs, credit card offers, receipts, or any other paper material that may contain personal information. The shred-a-thon is scheduled for Friday, May 8th, from 9 AM to 11 AM at the agency's parking lot at 2423 Allentown Road across from Wal-Mart.
They will also be offering a free CarFit program, which involves a quick but comprehensive check on how well you and your vehicle work together. Just a simple adjustment of your steering wheel or repositioning of your seatbelt can make a big difference. The service is free and done by a trained CarFit expert.
