LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — Allen County Democrats heard from Indivisible Central Ohio Thursday afternoon.

The nonpartisan, Columbus-based group helps promote voter registration and education. With 2026 being an important election year, the group is focusing on the importance of voter rights and election accessibility. Indivisible Central Ohio says it has been especially vocal in opposing efforts to reduce early voting hours and limit access to the ballot.

“There’s a lot of attacks on voter rights — decreasing hours for early voting, decreasing access to the ballot, making it harder for people with disabilities to vote — so those have been some things we've been specifically advocating to make it easier for people to vote across the state,” said Ann Shroyer of Indivisible Central Ohio.
