LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — Lima will temporarily close another intersection to advance Phase 2 of the Downtown Streetscape Project.
On Monday, March 17th, the intersection of Wayne Street and Central Avenue will be closed through March 20th. If residents need to get to the Lima Utilities Office while the intersection is closed, they are asked to enter Wayne Street from Jackson Street, turn at the Waiting Room and follow the drive back to the office. People can then exit through the parking lot at the Utilities Office/Cambridge Center back to Wayne Street. Access to local businesses will be maintained for most of the construction period, and there will be open access during non-working hours from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m.
