ALLEN COUNTY, Ohio (WLIO) - A barn is considered a total loss after a fire in Allen County on Thursday.
The Bluffton Fire Department says that they were called out just before 12:30 Thursday afternoon to reports of a barn fire on Hillville Road between Bentley and County Line Roads. When they arrived, they found that the barn was fully engulfed. There were a few rabbits inside of the barn that firefighters could not get out in time.
The fire also caused siding damage to neighboring buildings. The cause of the fire was determined to be a controlled burn that spread to the barn.
