ELIDA, Ohio (WLIO) — The Elida Branch Library hosted an Thursday afternoon filled with color and creativity as part of its summer programming.
The VFW Clown Unit entertained the library’s youngest visitors with balloon animals and puppets — all part of this year’s summer reading theme, “Color Our World.”
“Our theme this year is Color Our World, and it pertains to art,” said Sylvia Sigler of the Elida Public Library. “We have a lot of different art programs going on. This particular gentleman enjoys doing puppets and also creates balloon art, which is a lot of fun for kids.”
The summer schedule of events is designed to keep kids creative, engaged, and connected to books while school is out. There’s something happening nearly every day at your local Lima Public Library branch. To register or learn more, visit limalibrary.com.
