DAYTON (WLIO) — St. Henry delivered a dramatic fourth-quarter comeback to defeat Harvest Prep 55-51 in the Division VI state semifinal at the Nutter Center.
Trailing by 10 entering the final quarter, the Redskins erupted for a 21-7 run to flip the game. Karlee Buschur led St. Henry with 15 points, while Addy Homan added 13, including a key three-point play that pulled the Redskins within five late in the fourth.
With the game tied at 48, freshman Karlee Baumer knocked down a go-ahead corner three to give St. Henry the lead. Homan later sealed the win at the free throw line with 13 seconds remaining.
The victory sends St. Henry to its first state championship game, where the Redskins will face Canton Central Catholic at UD Arena. Molly Wendel left the game with an injury.
