Cornerstone of Hope is using tea and chocolate to bring hope to the community.
Cornerstone of Hope hosted a tea tasting and jewelry bazaar for women in our area at Lima Community Church. Dozens of women signed up to spend the morning browsing jewelry from local vendors, trying different types of tea, and making their own jewelry to remember the day. All of the money raised will go to help cornerstone of hope help children, teens, and adults in the community cope with whatever is going on in their lives.
"We offer individual counseling for a lot of different groups for adults and children," said Kari Taylor, Director for Cornerstone of Hope. "We actually this summer will have different camps for kids as well as some middle schoolers that we offer, and we do a lot of community events like this and some other trainings for parents and professionals in the community just to really equip people in our community with practical skills to manage the life issues they face."
This was the fourth year and biggest year yet for the event, and the organization hopes to keep it going and growing as time goes on.
