LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - Emergency crews responded quickly after a car crashed into the Ottawa River. Responders were called out just off Sugar Street in Lima for a car running off the ramp into the water from the river below.
Officials say when they got there, they were able to rescue the driver with no injuries or medical assistance needed. The driver said she didn't see the water below and accidentally flew over the side. A tow truck was brought in to pull the vehicle out of the water. The investigation continues.
