LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - The Allen County Treasurer wants to remind property owners that taxes are due next week.
You have until Friday, February 13th to get them paid. They are the first half real estate and mobile home payments. There are many ways you can make a payment and they encourage you to pay by the deadline.
"We have many avenues to pay, making it as easy as possible, but those are still due by February 13, or there's a 10% late penalty that would be added to anything not paid for the first half, and that's mandated by ORC (Ohio Revised Code)," said Krista Bohn, Allen County Treasurer.
The payment locations and options are listed on your tax receipt and on their website. If you are mailing your tax payment, make sure you give plenty of time for it to be postmarked before the deadline.
