LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) – The City of Lima is reminding residents that tomorrow, Saturday August 30th marks the long-awaited opening of the new Lima Community Aquatic Park.
While many area pools are preparing to close for the season, the state-of-the-art facility is just getting started. Doors open at 9 a.m. Saturday, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:15 a.m. The aquatic park features an indoor multipurpose lap pool with a retractable roof, a family activity pool with water slides and a shallow-water “sprayground” designed for young children.
