LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — Registration is now open for the 2026 Global Leadership Summit at Lima Community Church, giving area professionals, educators, business leaders and community members an opportunity to strengthen their leadership skills through a two-day training event.

For more than a decade, Lima Community Church has hosted the Global Leadership Summit, a virtual simulcast of the annual event held in Chicago. Hundreds of people from throughout the region have participated over the years, with attendees saying the experience has had a lasting impact on both their professional and personal lives.

Registration open for 2026 Global Leadership Summit in Lima

The summit is designed to help participants develop leadership skills that can be applied in every aspect of life.

"The heart behind the summit is that everybody's a leader. A lot of people feel like if they're not in management or in some kind of supervisory role that it wouldn't apply to them. But the reality is leadership is influence and everybody's got influence. And so whatever role you might play, there's something that you can take away from this. And I have found that to be true in every area of my life, in work, at home, in education, in all of those things. I always find helpful takeaways at the summit," said Brad Taylor, senior associate pastor at Lima Community Church.

This year's summit will feature sessions on topics including "The Invisible Language of Leadership," "Why Being Right Isn't Enough," and "Building a Culture They Never Want to Leave."

The Global Leadership Summit will be held Thursday and Friday, Aug. 6-7, at Lima Community Church. A complete list of speakers and session topics is available at globalleadership.org. Two-day tickets cost $249 and are available through Lima Community Church at limacc.com/gls.
