Meteorologist Stephen Puglisi's Friday AM Forecast 7/3/26
Today marks the last truly scorching day of our heat wave, although it will likely be at least a tad cooler than yesterday. Highs should be very close to the 90 degree mark this afternoon, but the oppressive humidity will make it feel like 100 or so degrees once again. A round of popup storms is likely to develop around nightfall, but they should clear out for the holiday. While tomorrow looks mostly dry, the majority of us will likely experience a round or two of storms tomorrow afternoon, so keep that in mind for any outdoor plans. A few fireworks shows could be impacted if the timing is unlucky, so have a backup plan! Otherwise, temperatures should cool off significantly as we head into next week, but will the storms remain? Find out in the forecast!
