Minster pulls away from New Bremen 13-3 in ACME District 4 tournament

ST. HENRY, Ohio - Minster erupted for six runs in the first inning and rolled past New Bremen 13-3 in five innings in the ACME District 4 Tournament on Friday.
James Kuehner started the scoring with an RBI double, Jonathan Bergman added a sacrifice fly and Ty Hein drove in another run as the Wildcats built a 6-0 advantage. New Bremen answered with an RBI single from August Garman after Isaac Heitkamp recorded the Cardinals' first hit of the game.
Minster added five more runs in the fifth inning to secure the run-rule victory and advance to face Coldwater on July 6 in Coldwater.
