SHAWNEE, Ohio (WLIO) - Shawnee Township's fire chief is back in the news thanks to two separate investigations into alleged misconduct.
The trustees sent out a press release today saying that Austin Miller has been placed on paid administrative leave, pending the outcome.
They tell us the Ohio Auditor's special investigation's unit is looking into alleged criminal and ethical violations by miller.
The trustees say they're investigating other potential criminal allegations and policy violations they've been made aware of.
They add they're cooperating with state officials and will provide the public updates on what's going on.
Miller was just re-instated in January after a seven-month suspension following misconduct allegations.
