Among their activities, students assisted with the annual “Flip the Switch” event in downtown Lima and the Good Friday fish fry at the Allen County Fairgrounds, along with numerous other service projects throughout the year.

Club president Callie Anne Bowlin said the organization offers students an opportunity to give back while building relationships and leadership skills.

“We're a student led club, and we help community service. We just help out the community, and we get to hang out with each other, make new friends, and we get to just it's a fun way for people to learn how to help out the community,” Bowlin said.

During Monday’s meeting, all members were recognized for their contributions with pins and certificates. In addition, three senior members received $1,000 scholarships in recognition of their commitment to service and leadership.

Organizers say the Interact Club continues to serve as a foundation for student involvement, encouraging young people to stay engaged and make a difference in their communities.
