LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — Warriors Way, a local organization focused on recreational therapy for veterans, is experiencing significant growth and expanding its services.

Speaking recently to the Lima Rotary Club, the founders of Warriors Way shared updates on their program’s progress. In 2024 alone, the organization served 780 individuals through various therapeutic activities designed to support veterans’ transition back into civilian life. Warriors Way expands services, seeks sponsors to support veterans

In 2024 alone, the organization served 780 individuals through various therapeutic activities designed to support veterans’ transition back into civilian life.

“They just disconnect from the world and the community, but they have so much to give and so much to offer,” said Jeff Dauterman, chief marketing officer for Warriors Way. “They’ve lost that transition from the military into the community, into the world as it is today, and they don’t have that purpose. We ignite that back because we give them that sense of accomplishment, the brotherhood and the sisterhood, where it’s a family.”

To support continued growth and maintain their programming, Warriors Way is seeking community sponsors willing to pledge monthly donations for three years. These funds will help ensure stable funding for programming, facility maintenance, and future expansion.
