Apollopalooza gives parents, alumni, and area residents the chance to check out the various programs at the school. Whether it be in medical, automotive, construction, manufacturing, or one of the many other specialty areas, the training that Apollo is offering is helping local businesses get the skilled workforce they need. This is the 8th Apollopalooza the school has held, but this is the first one in person since the pandemic hit two years ago.

“We are happy to have it in person again for the first time,” says Keith Horner, Superintendent of Apollo Career Center. “It’s really a celebration, a community-wide celebration. We want to celebrate all of our programs and certainly, we want to thank the folks that pay our bills, which are the taxpayers in the 11 school districts.”

Besides being able to check out Apollo, people could get entered into a raffle for a three-night stay in Cleveland, tickets to a Reds game, and certificates to adult education classes.
