LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - Apollo Career Center welcomed the community Thursday evening for its annual Apollopalooza.
The new Public Safety Training Center at Apollo will help train future police, fire, and EMS and along with truck drivers which are in great need across the country.
LIMA, OH (WLIO) - The Apollo Career Center opened its doors for their 12th annual Open House Thursday evening.
Apollopalooza gives parents, alumni, and area residents the chance to check out the various programs at the school. Whether it be in medical, automotive, construction, manufacturing, or one of the many other specialty areas, the training that Apollo is offering is helping local businesses get the skilled workforce they need. This is the 8th Apollopalooza the school has held, but this is the first one in person since the pandemic hit two years ago.
Students in different programs gave out information and held demonstrations and simulations for people to participate in.
It's a special day for Apollo Career Center, they are celebrating their 40th anniversary and showing off the newly renovated campus. Apollo held its fourth annual Apollopalooza.
